Wright Editorial launches as a ‘human content’ service

Lots of freelance writers have their own websites where they can share their portfolios. Now that I’m a freelancer, I’ve taken it a step further and have officially launched a sole proprietorship company in my name.

Through Wright Editorial, I can write feature articles or provide consulting services to new clients wanting a human approach to their content. And I’m doing this at a time when artificial intelligence tools are encroaching on nearly every profession, including mine.

I’m not against AI and have even dabbled with the tools myself. But too many businesses, media outlets and even political candidates are leaning too heavily on automated content generators. AI tools are improving, but there’s still significant public blowback when your messaging has a clear robot dependency.

What I’m offering is maybe a more traditional approach to content creation, but also a more trustworthy one. My work includes journalism, ghostwriting, crisis communications, seafood market consulting and more. And I bring creative and effective content strategies and services backed by real-world credentials.

I’m excited to finally share what I’ve been doing since my last post in February, when I announced that I was leaving the Global Seafood Alliance. I’m still proudly associated with GSA and am continuing as Editor-in-Chief of its Responsible Seafood Advocate, the online magazine I’ve had the honor of helming since 2015. I’ve built a talented and committed team that I am thrilled to continue working with. Only now it will be as a contractor. I’m happy to say that GSA is Wright Editorial’s first client!

I’m hoping to take on new freelance writing or editing assignments, consulting roles or crisis communications work. I also have extensive ghostwriting experience. So if you’re looking for a seasoned media professional to research and write a feature story, put together a press release, generate quotes, or if you simply need help answering a journalist’s questions, please reach out and fill out the simple contact form located at the bottom of the homepage if you’re interested in collaborating.
