Jamie Wright has worked in the publishing and events industries in a variety of roles since the mid-1990s, when, as a college student, he edited community notes for the Bangor Daily News, Maine’s second-largest newspaper at the time. His career has since taken him from a daily newspaper in southern Vermont to promoting sustainable seafood in publications and at conferences like the Responsible Seafood Summit, Fish 2.0, SeaWeb Seafood Summit, Seafood Expo North America and more. A skilled panel or debate moderator, in 2018 he moderated a Maine gubernatorial debate at the Strand Theater in Rockland (a race eventually won by Janet Mills).
A University of Maine graduate, Jamie has spent most of his career covering the global seafood industry. A golfer and bass guitar player, he enjoys playing with his Australian shepherd Stella with whatever energy remains.
